I have experience teaching all ages, and I develop curriculum based on students' interests and level of artistic knowledge.  I specialize in painting and teach both oils and acrylics as well as drawing techniques and an exploration of tools and materials.  A particular love of mine is color theory, and teaching the nuance of color mixing is a large part of my approach to painting.  I have a background in art history, and so always give attention to a study of art historical context.
