I have three paintings in this year's Beverly Art Competition at the Beverly Arts Center. The show will hang in the art center's gallery and will be opening on the evening of November 12th.

2011 Judges: Brad Killam (Associate Professor of Fine Arts at College of DuPage. He co-directs the Suburban, gallery in Oak Park, with Michelle Grabner, and runs Waupaca County Poor Farm in Little Wolf, Wisconsin programming seminars, artist’s projects and exhibitions. He has written for publications such as Tema Celeste and New Art Examiner as well as published artist’s catalog essays. He has exhibited his work widely in North America and Europe.) and Olivia Gude (A professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Founding Director of Spiral Workshop, Gude was awarded the National Art Education Association's 2009 Lowenfeld Award for significant contributions to the field of art education. Gude has received many commissions and awards for her public art, including two National Endowment for the Arts Art in Public Places grants. She frequently presents lectures and workshops on her work as a collaborative public artist and on re-imagining art education in terms of contemporary art practices.)
